Jaipur, 26th March, 2019: Tata Power, India’s largest integrated power utility has always prioritized the wellbeing of its employees and surrounding communities by simultaneously working towards improving their quality of life. Recognising this effort, the National Safety Council of India conferred Tata Power’s Maithon plant with a “Suraksha Puraskar” and Haldia plant with a “Prashansa Patra” certificate at the recently held Safety Awards 2018 under the ‘Manufacturing Sector’ category.
The award appreciated Tata Power’s efforts to develop & implement effective management systems & procedures for Occupational Health and Safety at its Maithon and Haldia plants.
