Mahindra & Mahindra Appoints Manoj Chugh As President- Group Public Affairs from January 1, 2019

Jaipur, December 12, 2018 – Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., today announced the appointment of Manoj Chugh as President-Group Public Affairs & Member of the Group Executive Board, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. with effect from January 1, 2019. Mr. Chugh was President- Enterprise Business, Tech Mahindra Limited, and he takes over this new role from Mr. S Ramkrishna who has retired from the company.

An ICT industry veteran, over the last 36 years Mr. Chugh has managed and led businesses across the Hi-Tech & IT Services domains. His experience spans diverse business segments including Systems Integration, Satellite Communications, Networking, Information Infrastructure and Global IT Services. He has worked extensively with both Indian and Global Majors.

An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, Mr. Chugh started his career with HCL before moving to Wipro, where he worked for 14 years. Manoj then switched gears and worked with global high-tech firms Cisco Systems and EMC, as their President for the India & SAARC Region. Prior to joining Tech Mahindra, he was the Regional President for EMC- Asia Pacific, where he led their Global Accounts. Currently Manoj leads Tech Mahindra’s Enterprise Business, (Revenue US$2.7B), which spans 70+ Markets and encompasses Manufacturing, BFSI, Healthcare, Hi Tech and Emerging Verticals, and which saw exponential growth during his tenure.

He has interacted extensively with the Government of India since the early 80s’and has been closely involved with many of the efforts focused on improving IT led citizen services, including Passport Services, Immigration, Indirect Taxes, UIDAI, the setting up of India’s first Internet Backbone and building Intelligence and Defense networks, to name a few.
